| I'm just wondering - what does it mean when the little logo next to a thread is wiggling around? Has anyone else noticed this, or do I sound nuts?

If you're talking about what I think you are, when a post has what looks like a little piece of paper zooming in and out, that means it's a popular thread. If it's yellow, that means there's been a new post in that thread since you last visited. If it's white, that means it's popular, but no new posts in that thread since you last visited.
Almost at the bottom of the page when you're in one of the forum groups, such as this "site feedback", there's a little chart if you want to call it that in the lower left hand corner explaining the different icons. Hope that helps.

Oh, I never noticed that chart before! Thanks.

Perhaps the wiggling you describe is just the thread logos trying to do the wave |
Ha ha.
You know, for someone who told me to drop the subject of the wave, you sure bring it up a lot. |
Fine, if you must know, I used to be pro wave. Yes, you read that right. I loved the wave I would bust that wave motion out at the drop of a hat. Sporting events, weddings, baptisms, you name it...but then, sadly, tragedy struck. One day I got a little to into the up stroke, and I severely injured my left arm. I can not raise my left arm higher than my shoulder area, which is worthless if were talkin' about the wave. It's dead to me (the wave and my arm).

Oh, no! That is very tragic! Yes, I can understand how that would make you forever against the wave.

but I love that commercial for I think B-W3 where they do the wave all throughout the place and when some guy walks in the crowd looked at him until he raised his arms up and said "Wooooo". The only thing that would have made it better is if he was sporting a 'stache and wearing a pair of Zubaz.

Oh man, that would have been nice. If a guy is draped in Zubaz, and sportin' a 'stache, he can do whatever he damn well pleases (and yes, that includes the wave).

that would have been the greatest commercial ever, even better then the Mean Joe Greene spot and the little kid. But alas he didn't so it's not.

Perhaps it's in the works for the next super bowl. Something that big needs a big stage.
