| Hey, we've got a Twins fan here now, so I'll talk about Joe Mauer. I heard today that he was put on the DL. What's going on with him? That's got to be very bad for the Twins.

About Joe Mauer - he's been having a quad strain that has been bothering him for pretty much the entire season thus far. It just got really tight on him during our recent series with Boston, and so they decided to DL him.
The Twins have been struggling offensively of late, and this just makes it worse. But it's time for other guys to step up, and put up. The good teams can make it through adversity. |
I, for one, don't mind at all.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully with being the DL though, he can get some rest and come back 100%, instead of trying to play through it.
